Description:
This project included the construction of a new pump-out shaft at Hampton with modifications to the existing pipework, enabling the whole output from Hampton WTW to be directed into the Thames Water Ring Main.
NBC Limited provided all the resources to construct the reinforced concrete slabs & pre-cast slabs including specialist labour.
Result:
The Thames Water Ring Main Extension Project has received a special award from the Institution of Civil Engineers, for its work in helping to ensure the future resilience of London's water supply.
